Dear colleagues,
This is the Second Announcement of the 7th International Conference on Meteorology and Climatology of the Mediterranean - MetMed (Palma, 4-6 March 2019).
It is a pleasure to invite you to the 7th MetMed. As in previous editions, this congress aims to show, discuss and disseminate the contributions of the international scientific community on different aspects of the meteorology and the climatology of the Mediterranean Basin and foster communication between different research groups.
In this edition, the meeting programme will cover the following six thematic blocks:
- Climatology.
- Processes and applications.
- Remote and in-situ measurements.
- Numerical modeling.
- Atmosphere-surface interactions in semi-arid conditions.
- Extreme Events, from improved weather forecasts to better projections in a context of accelerated climate change.
Important dates
- Deadline for abstract submission: 10 October 2018
- Notification of acceptance to authors: November 2018
